This is a water bottle carrier I made for some friends at CE..which starts this week...650 of my new best friends get together to play with paper, have some fun..I suppose we will partake in a few beverages...not just aqua!

Today Allan & I are attending a birthday party for Julia Child in Kierland...I am sure they will be serving something yummy & French! Happy Birthday Julia!

Getting ready forBIL Bill's visit next week..I have the blender all primed for Margaritas!

Finishing up all my projects for CE which is coming in just about 10 days..I can't believe it is almost here..woo hoo! Problem is...I keep thinking of things to make...I need to stop!

We decided to go to the beach over Labor Day weekend..so trying to get things lined up for that too..I am really looking forward to getting sand between my toes! Last summer when we were there Allan was working..so I was solo during the day..this will be much better..I know he wants to check out some resturants in Little Italy and maybe we will make it to Del Mar to eat at Jakes...I love that place...I am hoping we can meet up with my friend John from high school & his family..too.. We haven't seen each other in a really long time...Murphy & Carrie are going to come down from the OC and meet up with us...it will be fun..Allan you really need this trip...

Creative Goddess

Kim....aka.....The Creative Goddess was my paint can partner...unbelievable is all I can say...the black bag will be the envy of all the girls at CE in a few weeks...I can see why Kim made herself one also, in the pink altered box are swaroski crystal embellished havaiana's my favorite shoe of the moment... in black, my favorite color..a ring and bracelet in the little star shaped box and so much fun stuff to play with! Kim you are awesome! can't wait to meet you!

Crazy busy...

This past week just flew by..I am not sure where it went...getting ready for CE which in in about 2 weeks..

My charms arrived from the charm swap I am involved in..they are really fabulous..I soon as I get them all arranged on my necklace & bracelet I will post a photo...but they are amazing..a really talented group of chickies! I was so impressed I signed up for the 2nd chance swap as well...

Pop had surgery Tuesday..so that took up a big chunk of time..then running meals to his house..we were all gathered around..he loves all the attention!

Candee had a birthday..which we are celebrating here tomorrow...I am making her homemade peach ice cream, which is in the works...the peaches are sliced and sugared..waiting to be added to the milk and cream mixture...oh yum... it will go with the peach pie she requested..

Made a trip to Palmer's with a piece of vintage furniture I had been working on...it is delivered..but still needs some work...I promise to get it done Palmer! At least it is there instead of here!

Barney's opens here October 15th..Carrie we need to be there! Did you get my message?

Planning a trip somewhere over Labor Day..any ideas?

Yesterday Allan & I went and saw Julie/Julia...loved it!

I still have a few raks to get out in the mail...
